Standard hard pleat panels are of equal depth so when fully raised the pleats are level - recommended for short window drops. By using a rod across the width of the blind, standard hard pleat panels have a more defined pleat.

Gradient soft pleat panels are of progressively increasing depth, creating a cascade effect when fully raised -recommended for windows with longer drops. By using a rod across the width of the blind, gradient hard pleat panels have a more defined pleat.
